Cape Judges Erred With Ladies Mile Result

No indication whether stakes would be redistributed

The official result of the Listed Ladies Mile run at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on 4 May 2025 has been altered by the Stipes.

The Stipes, acting in terms of Rule 65.8, after proving that the Judges had erred with regards to the placings of this race, have corrected the result.

The change centres around the official dead-heat for fourth between Fun Zone and Kinda Wonderful.

Kinda Wonderful has now been placed sole fourth, while Fun Zone moves to fifth where she is recorded as dead-heating with Gold Poker Game.

The original Stipes report of the day records that the result of the race was delayed as the Judges were ‘satisfying themselves’ as regards the minor placings.

The Judges on duty on the day in question were Ms M Benjamin, Ms N September, Mr E Fisher & Mr A Jano.

This matter will be dealt with in terms of the internal NHA Employee Disciplinary Code.

There was no indication whether there would be a stakes redistribution.
