Zackey & Kingdundee Loaded With Ability

First due off @ 12h20

Fairview plays host to today’s local racemeeting with the first on the eight-race programme due off at 12h20.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Kingdundee under Craig Zackey in the seventh.

He was an easy winner of his last start in the Fairview Flying Five.

The son of The United States returns from a well-deserved 11-week break which would have done him the world of good.

He is loaded with ability and can keep his unbeaten record over this course and distance intact.

Global Ally from the Alan Greeff stable takes his place in Race 4. He has consistent form lines to his name.

He received a bump leaving the start over 2000m last time and finished off his race well.

He finished 0.75 lengths behind Bingwa, four runs ago. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

If getting away to a clean start, he can notch up his eighth-career victory.

  • Brevan Plaatjies rode his 40th winner on 25 June and will only claim 1.5kgs

  • Race: 8 – #2 JAMES FITZJAMES – 203 day break – recovering from being gelded
  • Race: 8 – #5 IMAGINABLE – 219 day break – change of stable yards
