Koh Supplements City Lad

2014 SIA Cup

The list of Singapore nominations for the $3 million International Group 1 Singapore Airlines International Cup (2000m) on May 18 has been boosted with the addition of CITY LAD as a supplementary entry.

Prepared by trainer Desmond Koh, CITY LAD is a five-time winner over distances ranging between 1200m and 1600m, but is probably better remembered for his two second placings at Group 1 level, namely in last year’s Patron’s Bowl (1600m) and Panasonic Kranji Mile (1600m). The Elusive City five-year-old ran a closing fourth in the Group 2 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2000m) won by WILD GEESE last Sunday.
