Al Adiyaat draft included

Millstream Farm will be bringing a top-class draft to the BSA August Two Year Old Sale, which commences on Friday.

Not only will the Robertson based farm be offering two-year-olds by the likes of Canford Cliffs, Captain Of All, Pomodoro, The United States and Vercingetorix, but Millstream will also be offering some exceptionally well bred two-year-olds on behalf of Al Adiyaat.

Al Adiyaat’s offerings incllude a beautifully bred daughter (Lot 236) of the now pensioned Var, with this daughter of the Giant’s Causeway mare Zulaal being a half-sister to none other than Gr1 Summer Cup winner Zillzaal.

Zillzaal’s multiple champion sire Silvano is represented here by two fillies in this draft. The filly (Lot 7) out of the Galileo mare Ghaliya sports a full-sister to legendary sire Danehill as her third dam, while the Silvano filly (Lot 154) out of the stakes placed Jet Master mare Semra hails from the wonderful “E” family.

Other appealing lots Millstream Farm will be offering on behalf of Al Adiyaat include the Var half-sister (Lot 75) to UAE 1000 Guineas runner up Mensoora, the Querari filly (Lot 164) out of Acacia Handicap victress Simply Royal, and the Var filly (Lot 194) out of the Gr2 placed Western Winter Tayba.

Millstream’s own two-year-olds include a Captain Of All colt (Lot34) from the family of US champion, and successful sire, Run The Gauntlet, with this colt’s other notable relatives including French Gr1 winner Fragrant Mix.

Silvano’s champion son Vercingetorix is well established as a top-class sire, and he is represented here by two colts -a half-brother (Lot 171) to Gr3 Pocket Power Stakes third Over The Odds, and a half-brother (Lot 299) to the useful King Of The Delta.

July winner, and proven Gr1 sire, Pomodoro has two lots in this draft -a colt (Lot 56) whose dam is a full-sister to G1 Singapore Airlines International Cup winner Lizard’s Desire, and a colt (Lot 202) from the immediate family of Irish classic winners Covert Love and Grey Swallow.

Other attractive lots in this draft include the Twice Over half-sister (Lot 69) to Zimbabwean champion Flanders, the The United States colt (Lot 145) from the family of Red Ray, Royal Chalice and Rudra, and the Canford Cliffs filly (Lot 277) whose five time winning dam is a half-sister to two stakes winners.
