The Hollywood Syndicate have enjoyed one of their very best seasons to date and lead the KZN owner log with five weeks left of the current term.
The rampant team enjoyed a milestone of a 50th winner for the season when the Maine Chance bred Platinum Sky won the third race at Turffontein on Saturday for Sean Tarry and Lyle Hewitson.
The Silvano colt stepped up from a good debut effort seven weeks ago and enjoyed the 1400m to beat Pewter King by 2,50 lengths.
Trainer Sean Tarry only saddled his first winner for the Hollywood Syndicate just over a week earlier when Imbewu won on debut.
Tarry complimented the Hollywood selectors for picking such smart horses.
“They were high on my shortlist but I didn’t pick them. But well done to Sally (Bruss) and Anthony Delpech on a great job. And to the Hollywood Syndicate for all they do for racing.”
