Trainer Dean Kannemeyer saddles Dawnofanewday in Race 6 and she is the best bet on the card. She was ultra-impressive when winning her last start over this course and distance.

The manner in which she quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was eye-catching. She received the maximum eight-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and can notch up her fourth career victory.

Iron Bark from the Gareth van Zyl takes his place in Race 2. He finished 2.2 lengths behind Valiente last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Flower Alley and he can notch up his fourth career victory.
