Aldo Set For A Good Day

First due off @ 12h40

Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon with the first due off at 12h40.

Freelancer Aldo Domeyer has seven rides booked with a few decent winning chances and may be the jockey worth following.

Tanneron from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable should give punters a good start to the day.

She produced an eye-catching debut effort over this course and distance.

She challenged strongly all the way to the line but was touched off by Sahara Cat.

The daughter of Var would have gained from the experience and with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle, she should take a power of beating.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Brett Crawford saddles Night Bomber in the lucky last. He finished 0.25 lengths behind Boogiefied last time.

He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

The son of Lancaster Bomber has dropped in the ratings and he may be hard to peg back.

Here’s the scoop from Trainer Justin Snaith, who saddles six runners this afternoon:

  • Race 1 – Be Merry is a very speedy type who will run into the money first time up. One to follow. Elizabeth Grace is looking for further but has shown some ability so far.
  • Race 2 – Moonacres is improving and will be the one to beat.
  • Race 4 – Red Moon Rising prefers this trip and should run a competitive race.
  • Race 5 – Steadfast is scratched
  • Race 6 – Four Jacks has found his second gear and could keep up his consistent form of late.
  • Race 7 – Cloud Chaser comes back in trip and we are hoping she improves after a disappointing spell.

Jockey Devin Ashby will not be riding today.
