Another KZN Racemeeting Cancelled

More concern for racing authorities

For the second time this month, a KwaZulu-Natal racemeeting has been cancelled due to a paucity of declarations.

In a short advice this morning, Gold Circle said that the race meeting scheduled at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday 31 October has been cancelled.

The racemeeting scheduled for 3 October – also a Monday – was cancelled for the same reasons.

This week, we have had two consecutive Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack racemeetings – Tuesday and Wednesday.

Having provinces stay loyal to regular slots has often been argued as the only way to go. But then we suddenly had Turffontein on Monday, just past. Go figure.
