In France, former shuttler Antonius Pius (Danzig-Catchascatchcan, by Pursuit Of Love) added a black-type success when daughter Faustina (Antonius Pius-Party Bag, by Cadeaux Genereux) owned by Australia’s OTI Racing’s (Terry Henderson & Simon O’Donnell) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the €55,000 (A$91,000) Listed Prix De Saint-Cyr (1400m) for 3YO fillies at Maisons-Laffitte.
Faustima (ridden by Christophe Soumillon for trainer John Hammond) defeated UK-bred fillies Procrastination (Pivotal-Dilly Dally, by Rubiton) & Nova Hawk (Hawk Wing-Reveuse De Jour, by Sadler’s Wells). Faustina now has 3 wins & 2 placings from 5 starts. (Oct 13)
