Aussie’s Superb Year Continues

Inglis Easter Yearling Sale - 6 & 7 April

It has, by any yardstick, been a superb year for yearling sales in Australia.

Measured against the backdrop of an economy tentatively emerging from COVID-19’s shackles, it has been positively astonishing.

Adding fuel to the flame ahead of the upcoming sale of the 466 bluebloods catalogued for this year’s Inglis Easter Yearling Sale at Riverside on April 6 and 7 is that elusive x-factor called the wealth effect, one created by property prices rising faster than they have in two decades.

Ergo, a perfect storm that could see demand for future stallion prospects and handsomely pedigreed future broodmares richly reward vendors, only a year on from the start of the worst global pandemic since the Spanish Flu in 1917.
