Avontuur In The Fast Lane

Book early to avoid disappointment

In The Fast Lane

The top-class In The Fast Lane wins the Fillies Guineas in 2013

The Avontuur Estate Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas raceday is one of the premier racing and social events on the Cape Summer Of Champions programme and will be run this year on 6 December at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town.

The race was won last year by champion Jet Master filly In The Fast Lane who has left SA to continue her career overseas.

The race this year is said to be an early target for South Africa’s unbeaten Equus Champion 2yo filly of last season, Majmu.

With R 1000 000 prize money being offered the prestige sponsors, who are breeders of champion racehorses and makers of fine wine, are looking forward to hosting the top 3yo fillies in South Africa.

Avontuur has linked hands this year with the Peninsula Schools Feeding Association and will assist with raising funds to feed hungry kids around the Peninsula.

Bookings for the day are now open and to avoid disappointment it is imperative to make plans early.

Hospitality options include VIP tickets to the Peninsula Room which is perfect for a group of friends or a year-end function – or support the PSFA in their hospitality area.

Another option is just come along for a day of free fun, food, sun, racing and lots of activities for kids and parents on the lawns in front of the main stand.

For information about the packages contact Moerieda at [email protected] or +27 21 855-3450 during office hours.
