Black Minnaloushe: Gr1 win and Gr2 place

G1 Macau Gold Cup over 1800m at Taipa, Macau

Brazilian rider Tiago Pereira added another G1 win to his resume when he guided Australian bred 4-y-o Golden Gunner (Black Minnaloushe-Clever Clogs, by Woodman) to victory in the HK$1.2 million Macau Gold Cup G1 over 1800m at the Taipa racetrack in Macau.
Golden Gunner went home too strongly for race favourite St Peter’s Gift to score by a short head going away, with Good Uncle, a stablemate to the winner, a length and a half away in third.
Prepared by the combined stable of Brian Kan and Tommy Tse, Golden Gunner has now won 5 races in Macau and earned close to HK$2 million.
Golden Gunner was purchased as a yearling for A$32,000 at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale
