Vaal incident leaves trainer shaken

Brian Wiid – no damage done

Veteran trainer Brian Wiid was kicked and bowled over in the parade ring prior to Race 2 at the Vaal on Thursday.

Tabnews report that t thankfully after examination by the medical officer on duty, it was established that there was no serious damage done, and he is none the worse for it.

The race did go well enough for him as his filly Petite Aime was runner-up behind the Heather Adamson trained Kitty Coo.
