Digteby To Offer Well-Bred Pomodoro Fillies

Digteby Stud, the breeders of champion Hot Ticket, will be offering a pair of well-bred Pomodoro fillies at this year’s National Yearling Sale.

A July winning son of Jet Master, Pomodoro is already well established as a sire of high-class fillies, with his daughters headed by multiple G1 winner, and Equus Champion, Return Flight and the likes of Caralluma, Golden Belle and promising two-year-old Social Image.

Pomodoro is also the sire of a pair of well-bred fillies destined for this year’s National Sale, with his first daughter (Lot 129) a half-sister to three winners including Christmas Handicap runner up Mr Fitz and eight time winner Sovereign Reign.

Digteby’s other offering on this year’s National Sale is the Pomodoro filly (Lot 143) whose dual winning dam is a half-sister to the talented, Digteby bred Gr3 HSH Princess Charlene Starling Stake winner Mill Queen.

The latter recently took her earnings to over R530 000 when scoring at the Vaal, with Mill Queen proving competitive in a number of  feature races.
