INARA, the Trippi filly Inara was crowned Horse Of The Year in the RACING section.

This outstanding galloper is the first SA-bred filly to win a Gr1 race in each of the three racing provinces – and she did this in one season –  and then also the only filly ever to win Gr1 races in each of the three provinces in one season!

SMART CALL, the 2016 J&B Met winner and three time Gr1 winner was crowned Horse Of The Year in the BREEDERS section. This daughter of Ideal World is currently based in Newmarket, UK and is on an overseas campaign with a Breeders Cup outing her target.
