Turf Challenge Leaderboard

Are you up with the pace?

The first leader board for this year’s Charity Turf Challenge sponsored by Track & Ball Gaming has been released.

Leading entrant is DURBAN12 who has amassed 124 points with his entry.

BLUEBIRD, NEIL MOODLEY4 and NEIL MOODLEY10 are in the following pack on 120 points.

We thank entrants for their patience and look forward to watching the drama unfold as the season gets into full swing.

This weekend’s big race is the Gr2 World Sports Betting Greyville 1900, a significant pointer to the Vodacom Durban July and one that offers entrants the chance of earning good points for the competition.

The powerful Snaith team has three competitive entries, not least the much talked about DOUBLEMINT (Twice Over), the sixth placed Sun Met runner who escaped the NHRA’s then interpretation of their “handicapping guidelines” and comes into the July picture with a serious chance at the current weights. The supporting feature is the Listed East Coast Cup worth 2 points to the winner where the current favourite is another Snaith runner, MYABI GOLD (Silvano), who made an impressive start to her winter campaign.

The first of the R500 betting vouchers kindly donated by TabGold will be drawn by Deez Dyanand during the course of the afternoon.

The next leader board will be released on Monday, 20 May.
