Longshots For Charity

Derby and Oaks this Saturday

This was a week for long shot bonuses in the Charity Turf Challenge, after La Bella Mia and Valbonne both paid over R15 for a tote win and earned their supporters an extra 5 points.

La Bella Mia (lead-in pic by Candiese Marnewick above) could not have been more impressive when finishing strongly to beat the colts in the Gr2 Post Merchants on Friday evening  from the consistent Wynkelder, with Bold Respect in third place.

Weiho Marwing’s filly earned 19 points for her efforts. Arabian Air, Euphoric and Fresnaye were the only other point scorers this week.
