Waller Goes High Tech

At the cutting edge

Multiple champion Australian trainer Chris Waller, whose East coast juggernaut also sees him close to the top of the Brisbane metropolitan pecking order, has upgraded all stable locations with the latest version of E-Trakka.

According to Waller Racing’s weekly newsletter, the new, improved E-Trakka XV3 is an upgrade of the its existing E-Trakka system in place since 2012.

The decision to upgrade the visionary fitness-monitoring system which allows for real-time data recording of each horse’s stride length, heart rate, speed and sectional times, is to increase data collection within the stable.

Waller noted, “I have been watching this technology steadily develop and there is no doubt the results are showing its value will continue to improve. With the benefits from the smart real-time data we have access to, we want to ensure we stay at the cutting edge of racehorse training for our clients.”
