In our article in SP 1921 ‘Mercury Rising For Freddie’, we reported that the former jockey was injured after falling while riding work.
While this is factually correct, any implication or suggestion that this incident occurred at Drakenstein Stud, or was the cause of his future inability to ride work, is withdrawn.
