Classic Pedigrees on Classic Sale

2012 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale

The Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale has long been established as South Africa’s premier sale for producing classic horses and top-class middle distance performers. This year looks no exception, and there are a number of horses on offer, whose pedigrees look tailor made for some of this’ country’s bigger 3yo events.

The National Sale of 2012 offers a range of yearlings, with varying degrees of stamina in their pedigrees. The lots mentioned below are just a few of the horses on sale that on paper have a real classic look to them – with a focus on sires, dams and dam sires that were known stayers.

This is just another way to help you as you research the pedigrees in our catalogue, and is more food for thought than an exact science.

It also shows that we have a wonderful quality of bloodstock on sale that will interest all tastes  – there are great pedigrees from Lot 1 onwards.

Why not come and have a look at all of our horses on the sale – viewing starts 22 April.
