Mike de Kock, successful with Emerald Beauty in 2003, Rumya in 2012 and Majmu two years later, has nominated both Silver Thursday and Takingthepeace for the R1 million WSB Gr1 Fillies Guineas  on 2 December at Kenilworth.

Included in the 18 entries for the fillies’ classic is Western Cape Fillies Championship runaway winner Snowdance as well as last season’s unbeaten  2yo Magical Wonderland.

Yvette Bremner travels from Port Elizabeth with recent Starling Stakes winner Via Seattle, who rocked Turffontein on Charity Mile Day.

The final field declares at 11h00 on Monday 27 November.
