De Melo – At The Top Of His Game

The first race at Hollywoodbets Greyville is off at 12h55

Racing takes place on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and eight races are carded.

The Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge is free to play, and if you tip all eight winners on the card, you can win R2 million.

The first is due off at 12h55.

Mccartney from the Tony Rivalland yard should give punters a good start to the day. He ran a good race when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time.

It must be noted that Kitchakal has come out and finished a close second since. It is encouraging that Keagan de Melo rides on his return after a 12-week break and, in this line-up, he can shed his maiden tag.

After saddling the feature race winner yesterday, trainer Carl Hewitson sends out Lord Minver in Race 3.

He has fair consistent form lines to his credit. He stayed on when fourth over 2000m on this course last time. The son of Duke Of Marmalade has dropped to a competitive rating and from his good draw of four, he can return to winning ways.

Please note that K Sakayi will not be riding today.
