Dillon For Australia

First Gr1 winner and plenty of sacrifices

A recent dramatic winner on Golden Ducat of the WSB Gr1 Champions Cup, Donovan Dillon will soon be heading to Australia with his family to pursue his career there.

The WSB Gr1 Champions Cup at Hollywoodbets Greyville on 29 August  was not only a perfectly timed ride, but also a perfectly timed race.

It was the last Grade 1 on the card, on the last day of Champions Season 2020.

A fitting end to a season which despite the restrictive regulations of an international pandemic, provided both competitive and thrilling racing.

Michele Wing of RACING NEWS caught up with Donovan Dillon at Summerveld this week.
