Winning Form’s Ashburton-based former dual KZN Champion Duncan Howells saddles five runners at today’s Hollywoodbets Greyville meeting.

He spoke to Gold Circle’s Warren Lenferna about their chances.

  • Race 1: HUANG JIN ZANG (3):

Has issues at the starting stalls. If not playing up, could run into the back end of the quartet.

  • Race 6: TRIP TO AFRICA (2):

Is a fairly decent sort – if not too green in the kickback, racing on the poly for the first time, then I am expecting a very good run.

  • Race 7: BRILLIANT DISGUISE (10):

Is showing very good work at home – I am not particularly worried about the draw as he races handy and has a first three chance.

  • Race 9: STARLIGHT (6):

She is honest and always runs to her ability – do not leave her out of the quartet.

  • Race 10: HEY BOY (11):

Has not been far off and has been rested – he has come back very well and certainly could give a good account of himself.

The first race is off at 11h30.
