No Secret – De Kock’s Bullish After Rest

Turffontein first off at 12h05 today

Mike de Kock is looking for a bold showing from his smart multiple stakes-placed Dynasty gelding Noble Secret who returns from a 16 week break when he contests an Assessment Plate at Turffontein today.

Noble Secret and Randall Simons – back in action toda

The 4yo runs in the seventh race and will be ridden by regular rider Randall Simons. Placed in all three legs of the SA Triple Crown, he could be too strong for his six rivals in the mile event.

He could come into his own as a 4yo after winning 2 of his 6 starts and in the money at all of them.

By Dynasty, Noble Secret is out of the Al Mufti dual winner Arabian Secret, a mare Mike de Kock owned and raced. She is from an old Birch Brothers family that de Kock has had a lot of success with – thinking back to horses like South Lake, Totally Bold, Classic Hero and Buckarina.

Mike and Jehan Malherbe of Form Bloodstock went to R700 000 to secure Noble Secret at the National Yearling Sale of 2016. He has earned a few rand short of R500 000 in his six starts to date.
