The first is off at 14h50

The first is due off at 14h50.

Reny from the Brett Crawford stable takes her place in Race 6 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker. She followed up her maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course.

She quickened up well and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to the mile. She received an eight-pound penalty, but may still be ahead of the handicapper and she can notch up the hat-trick.

Trainer Roy Magner saddles Power Ranger in Race 4. He is much better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be not striding out.

His penultimate run when finishing second over 1200m on the Inside course was good. It is encouraging that Muzi Yeni steps back into the saddle and the pair may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
