The 5YO son of Medaglia d’Oro was outstanding last season, winning all of his seven starts and becoming only the second horse to sweep all three Classic series contests – the Hong Kong Derby, Classic Mile and Classic Cup.

The other was the brilliant Rapper Dragon in 2017.

Both Golden Sixty and Hong Kong’s legendary miler, Beauty Generation, will be making their first start of the 2020/21 season over 1400m in the Gr 3 Celebration Cup.

Beauty Generation, now with David Hayes having previously been in the care of John Moore, has scored six times from seven starts over the distance, including three at Gr1 level, while Golden Sixty is three from four at the trip.

At the weights, Golden Sixty will be in receipt of a substantial 8kg, however Beauty Generation has won the last two renewals of this contest shouldering top-weight.
