Fifteen Years Ago Today…

Anthony Delpech won the Gr1 FWD QEII Cup

With the HK$25 million Gr1 FWD QEII Cup being run at Sha Tin on Sunday, it’s an appropriate time to reflect back fifteen years to 24 April 2005, the day Anthony Delpech rode Vengeance Of Rain to a scintillating victory for trainer David Ferraris.

It’s interesting looking at the result to see the name of July winner Greys Inn taking the runner-up berth.
