A final field of fifteen, headed by 2015 Met winner Futura, will line up at the 2000m marker at Kenilworth on Saturday 30 January for the 39th renewal of the R2,5 million Gr1 J&B Met.

The event has attracted the best from across South Africa and includes the 2015 Gr1 Sansui Summer Cup winner Master Sabina, and 2016 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate winner, Legal Eagle.
The official public gallops will be held at 07h00 at Kenilworth on Thursday 21 January, whereafter the barrier draws will be made.
