Trainer Geoff Woodruff will be looking to win his fourth successive R2-million Gr1 Sansui Summer Cup on 26 November and will have four horses carrying the flag.

The veteran would have had mixed feelings after the draw ceremony on Wednesday dished him a 50/50 hand – with two of his horses drawing very widely.

Woodruff won this race in 2013 with Yorker, in 2014 with Louis The King and last year with Master Sabina, who touched off stablemate Deo Juvente in a close finish.
Both will be back this year, with Gavin Lerena reprising his role on Master Sabina while Anton Marcus takes the ride on Deo Juvente.
Woodruff also saddles the badly drawn Master Switch, with Anthony Delpech up, and another wide gater in Master ’N Commander with Alec Forbes up.
