Joey Ramsden’s exciting Western Winter filly Cold As Ice, who registered her second win at Kenilworth on Wednesday in fine style, will line up against Glen Kotzen’s Diana Stakes winning Judpot filly Double Whammy, in the R400 000 Gr2 Choice Carriers Championship, to be run at Kenilworth on Saturday 8 November.
The tussle between the two top 3yo fillies is expected to dominate the race and should answer plenty of questions.
Joey Ramsden said on Wednesday that Cold As Ice was a relaxed filly and thus looks to have the potential to be more than a pure sprinter.
“But we will only know if we try,”he said.
The only visitor in the field is the Alan Greeff-trained Dancing Natasha who jumps from the 1 draw.
