Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Candice Dawson sends out Player in Race 8. He followed up his maiden win with a hard-fought victory over this course and distance.

It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Toreador meets a similar field this afternoon and can notch up the hat-trick under Calvin Habib.

Southern Blaze from the Stuart Pettigrew yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. He finished 2 lengths behind Eye Of The Prophet last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today.

The son of Global View should have finished closer that day as he had to be steadied at the 150m mark. With a bit of luck in running, he can notch up his third career victory.
