Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge – 2nd Leg Today

Hollywoodbets Greyville first off at 12h20

Hollywoodbets Greyville plays host to a nine-race programme on the polytrack this afternoon. There has been a lot of rain in Durban in the past two days.

The first race is off at 12h20 and the last race is scheduled for 17h00.

The meeting is also the second leg of the popular Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge, which offers big cash rewards for a free entry.

Players select one horse in each race – select them all and you can win R525 000.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Time Taker from the Nathan Kotzen stable is the best bet on the day. He has finished third in both his efforts to date.

The manner in which he stayed on at the finish last time suggests he will enjoy the rise to the mile.

The son of Time Thief looks to be a progressive type and should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Glen Kotzen sends out Duc D’Orange in Race 6. He is much better than his last outing in the Listed Michaelmas Handicap.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

He has won three times, finished second once and third once from seven starts on this course.

Jason Gates knows him well and the combination may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Please note that Stuart Randolph has been replaced on all of his rides today.

  • The Bipot starts in the second at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 14h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h41
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the sixth race at 15h15
