Punters’ Challenge Winnings Will Go A Long Way

Hollywoodbets Punters' Challenge winner

Limpopo-based Shirly Magabe was the winner of the Hollywoodbets’ Punters Challenge on a tricky afternoon at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.

“I was extremely excited to find out that I had managed to top the leaderboard. I’ve been trying since November 2020 to make my way to the top, and I was overwhelmed to find out that I had won a whopping R4000,” she enthused.

A loyal Hollywoodbets customer, Shirly hails from the Gamokuotho Village in Limpopo. She is currently working hard at her studies, and is in her second year of Law through UNISA. She relies on distance learning due to Covid-19.

“I’ve been a regular Soccer and Lucky Numbers punter for the last SIX years. I win  on Lucky Numbers on the odd occasion, but I’m still waiting on my big win one day!” she said.

Asked how she structured her selections, Shirly said that she studied form and followed certain jockeys.

“I have no assistance in compiling my selections and I know exactly what I want when making them. I don’t usually bet on horse racing but the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge is a fun and easy opportunity to make free selections and see how well one performs against others.”

Shirly plans to use her winnings to buy stationery for her 5-year-old son, so that he has everything he needs when he goes back to school. Shirley also plans on supporting her family with a portion of her winnings.

Don’t miss the next Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 24 January.

The big bonus prize on offer will be R1 125 000!
