How’s This For A Race!

Only ten entries ...but real class!

Only ten entries have been received for the R400 000 Gr2 Green Point Stakes to be run over 1600m at Kenilworth on Saturday 8 December.

Legal Eagle beats Edict Of Nantes (aka Northern Superstar) and Captain America to win the 2017 Green Point Stakes (Chase Liebenberg Photography)

The traditional prep for the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate is likely to see double defending champion Legal Eagle meeting the likes of undefeated local Rainbow Bridge, July winner Do It Again and last season’s Gr1 Gold Challenge winner Undercover Agent.

Last season’s Cape Derby winner Eyes Wide Open and the Cape Guineas winner Tap O’Noth are also amongst the entries.

Declarations are due on Thursday 29 Novembe at 11h00.

What a race!
