If The Shoe Fits…

First due off @ 12h35

Racing takes place on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack this afternoon with the first on an eight-race programme due off at 12h35.

Today is another chance to get onto the daily leaderboard so don’t forget to tip your way to the top of the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Garth Puller sends out Petit Verdot in Race 5.

She was doing her best work at the finish when second over 1400m in the Non-Black Type River Indigo Handicap last time.

She has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this course and distance.

She jumps from pole position and if keeping on a straight line, she should be the one to beat.

Peter Muscutt sends out Shoefella in Race 6 today (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Shoefella hails from the in-form Peter Muscutt stable and he takes his place in Race 6. He showed some signs of a form return last time.

Despite over racing in the early stages, the way he ran on at the business end was encouraging.

He has won once, finished second twice and third once from five starts on this course.

If Calvin Habib can switch him off early, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Jockey Jabu Jacobs will not be riding today.
