Met Betting – From Wednesday Only

Captain Ameica Met GallopsTAB betting on the R2.5-million J&B Met at Kenilworth on Saturday 30 January will open next week on Wednesday 27 January and not on Monday as advertised.

In order to distinguish between the meetings at Turffontein on Tuesday night and Turffontein on Saturday, when the Met will form part of the racecard, TAB was going to change the ITW (inter-tote wagering) code for Tuesday night’s meeting.

Unfortunately several international commingling partners cannot accommodate a different ITW code for Turffontein and consequently tote betting on the Met will only open on Wednesday.
