Déjà vu – Karis Teetan and David Ferraris on 8 September 2013 (photo: HKJC)

Karis Teetan celebrated a career milestone when riding his 200th Hong Kong winner at Sha Tin on Sunday, 11 March 2018.

The win, which came aboard the David Ferraris-trained Amazing Satchmo for owner Nicola Chu Ming Nga in the 1400m Boat Quay Handicap, has a certain amount of déjà vu.

On 8 September 2013, Karis Teetan rode his first Hong Kong winner at his first attempt in the first race of the first day of the new Hong Kong season aboard the David Ferraris-trained Amazing Always. Today, he notched his 200th Hong Kong winner for the same stable in the same silks!
