He opened up with a quick double, as Strathallan and Willie Way took the first two races.

Teetan than came back to close the meeting when Invincible Fresh just scraped in by a nose over Grant Van Niekerk’s mount Lady First.

The recently arrived Van Niekerk didn’t have the luckiest day, with another second and two thirds, without finding the winners box.

The undoubted star of the day however was 28 year old local rider Vincent Ho, who recorded the first four timer of his career.

Purton was victorious on Victory Boys in the Class 2 Tsuen Fu Handicap to move to 17 for the season, but his day didn’t end well when he picked up a two meeting suspension for careless riding on Comfort Life in the tenth and last.
