Jockey Ryan Munger is hovering around a breakthrough on the national champion log top ten and he held his good run of form with a hat-trick of winners at Flamingo Park on Monday, which included a nicely judged pillar-to–post score on Bongo Dance in the R110 000 Kimberley Classic.

The non black-type mile feature looked a wide open contest, but Munger always had things under control on the topweight, who was the first leg of a double for trainer Stephanie Miller.
Overcoming a wide draw, Bongo Dance was out and galloping from the break and the son of Oracy kept on relentlessly to register a third win with 2 places from 8 starts.
He went off at 8-1 and beat the hardknocking filly Sussex by 2,60 lengths in a time of 98,58 secs.
Bongo Dance was bred by Balmoral Stud and is out of one-time winner, Head Count (Linney Head). He was bought for R20 000 by Francois du Toit off the CTS Johannesburg Ready To Run Sale.
