Toreador (Danehill - Purchasepaperchase)

Toreador (Danehill – Purchasepaperchase)

Recent news in is that Bush Hill Stud’s Toreador produced another Stakes Winner with Scott Bros’ handsome Matador Man. He is a full brother to Desert Fighter, a son of Sahara by Mogok, and won the Listed Secretariat Stakes.

It was a great weekend for Scott Bros as Road To Dubai, a son of The Sheik, won the Listed Borrowdale Sprint Cup in Zimbabwe for the second time. Well done to all concerned.

Roski Stud are having a wonderful run, particularly with their Dynasty filly Miss Minver who recently collected her fourth win and third in a row. Read more about Roski’s recent successes which include Princess Analia, Roy’s Marciano and Just Vogue and Tyron’s Jet at the following link.

Scandal

Backworth Stud’s mare Lewinsky’s Lover has produced a rare feat of producing two record breakers – Scandal and Humidor. Bruce Le Roux and Tinus Gericke purchased their Oratorio half-sister at the KZN Yearling Sale this year for R450 000 – look out for her Byword colt that is being aimed at Nationals in early May. Read more about this extraordinary daughter of Jallad at the following link.

The Curved Ball’s are coming!

Curved Ball

Curved Ball (Fastnet Rock – Curvaceous)

The only son of Fastnet Rock standing at stud in South Africa has had two winners in two weeks. Congratulations to Cathy and Jonathan Martin who have bred two of his winners, Fast And Rocking and Rivers Edge. Find out more at the following link about Bush Hill Stud’s Gr2 winning son of Fastnet Rock.

Crusade‘s first runners have hit the tracks, and from six runners, four have placed including a very close second from Romantic Crusade in the Bass-Robinson stable – we should see them in the winners enclosure very soon!
