The three 2016 finals were held in wet conditions at Scottsville on Sunday.

With steady rain falling all day, it was pleasing to see the meeting manage to run 8 of the 9 carded races, with riders steering clear of the inside running rail in the last few events.

Race 9 was abandoned.

Three final races for a stake of R200 000 each were run over 1200m, 1600m and 1950m.
