Sean Tarry and Chris Van Niekerk – Liege looks promising

Sean Tarry’s Dynasty colt Liege has rocketed up the standings on the log for the R2,5 million Lanzerac Ready To Run Stakes.

The Maine Chance Farms bred son of Dynasty produced a smart post-maiden effort on Charity Mile day when chasing Muwaary home in the Gr3 Graham Beck Stakes at his fourth outing.

He is owned by a power partnership of Chris Van Niekerk and Markus Jooste.

The big race is run over 1400m at Kenilworth on Saturday 21 November and is restricted to eligible graduates of the Ready To Run Sale held on 4 and 5 October 2014.

Supplementary en tries close at 11h00 on Wednesday 11 November

Declarations are due by 11h00 on Thursday 12 November.
