Ledell’s Echo from the Gavin Smith stable takes his place in Race 6 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He showed good speed in his last start over this course and distance, but was outrun late by Tipsy Tina. It is encouraging that S’manga Khumalo steps back into the saddle and from his midfield draw of seven, he should be hard to peg back.

Kind Of Blue could give trainer Gavin Smith a good start to the day. She is a filly taking on the males. She ran a decent race when third over 1300m on this course, two weeks ago.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Her best career effort has come over this course and distance.

She tries the blinkers for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. Mpumelelo Mjoka retains the ride and she is capable of shedding her maiden tag in this line-up.

Please note that S Devoy will not be riding today.
