Today's meeting starts at 12h25

East Cape Horse of the Year, World Radar, will defend her title in the R85 000 Listed East Cape Breeders Stakes over 1200m at Fairview today.

The Soft Falling Rain filly has won seven of her ten starts for the stable of champion trainer Alan Greeff.

Henk Steenkamp writes that eleven runners will face the starter, including the Justin Snaith trained Cape Town filly Trickster. Snaith won this race two years ago with Juniper Spring.

Friday’s meeting starts with the first of eight races at 12h25.

Race seven is the feature race and is off at 15h55.
