Reminder that he claims 1,5kg

Progressive apprentice Luke Ferraris has not found his reduced claim of 1,5kgs a hinderance and he rode a double for Sean Tarry at Greyville last evening to take his season tally to 17.

He rode the 40th winner of his career at Scottsville on Wednesday to take the step down – or is it up – to his revised 1,5kg claim.

Holding seventh position on the SA National log, the well-related first year apprentice continues to catch the eye with an excellent seat and his overall mature approach to race riding.

He has a ride in each of the nine races at Turffontein today.

Luke will claim the 1,5kgs until the conclusion of the meeting where he rides his 60th winner.
