Miss Frankel will be the first offspring of the legendary racehorse Frankel to race in South Africa.

The striking chestnut filly, who is still playing around the paddocks at Avontuur Stud near Somerset-West, will turn two in August.

She will soon be going into training with Dennis Drier and Avontuur’s Pippa Mickleburgh commented: “Miss Frankel is doing beautifully. She will leave for Dennis’ yard at month-end and will race in the Avontuur silks.”
