Avontuur Thoroughbred Farm, whose alumni include such champions as dual South African Horse Of The Year, and National Sale buy, Legal Eagle will be offering a superb draft this year’s National Yearling Sale.

The Somerset West based estate will be offering yearlings sired by such top stallions as Gimmethegreenlight, Oratorio, Querari, Silvano and Var, as well as by the likes of Canford Cliffs, Erupt and Rafeef.

Avontuur’s draft is packed full of quality yearlings including –

Gimme Gorgeous (Lot 41) -a Gimmethegreenlight colt whose dam is a three-parts sister to Horse Of The Year Futura. He is pictured below.

October Fair (Lot 133) -a Silvano half-sister to Equus Champion Tempting Fate.

Van Otten (Lot 176) -a Querari colt whose stakes winning dam Peep Show hails from the same family as the likes of Dog Rose and Lord Shirldor.

Madison Square (Lot 309) -a colt by multiple champion sire Silvano out of Equus Champion, and multiple G1 winner Val De Ra. He is pictured below.

Thunderstruck (Lot 311) -a colt by G1 winning sprinter Rafeef out of G2 Post Merchants winner Varikate.

Run For Cover (Lot 338) -an Erupt half-brother to G2 The Debutante winner A Womens Way, G1 Premiers Champion Stakes runner up Ancestry and the smart Bequest.

Stepping Out (Lot 411) -a Var three-parts brother to G1 Golden Horse Sprint winner Contador.
