Gr1 Glory for Graduate & Judpot

Judpot

Judpot sire of dual Gr1 Along Came Polly, represented by 24 yearlings at Nationals

Along Came Polly (Judpot), a graduate of the 2012 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale, scored the second Gr1 victory of her career when successful in the Gr1 L Jaffee Empress Club Stakes at Turffontein.

The 3yo daughter of Judpot proved too classy for her 14 rivals, romping to a 1.25 length victory over fellow BSA graduate Arcetri Pink, with KZN raider Jet Aglow  dead heating with Espumanti for third place.

Along Came Polly, South Africa’s Equus Champion 2YO Filly last season,  was a bargain buy at the 2012 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The brilliant filly, who was bred by Varsfontein Stud, cost just R60 000 – but has now earned over R1.5 million in prize money for owner Brian Burnard.

Out of the Model Man mare Perfect Polly, Along Came Polly has now won or placed in six Grade One contests and is unlikely to stop here!

This exceptionally classy and well bred filly (her dam is a half-sister to champion Young Rake) is another great advertisement for the quality of thoroughbred sold at the Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
