An investigation is expected to be launched by the National Horseracing Authority and the racing operator after an apparent miscommunication and breakdown in processes produced an incorrect official result in the eighth race at the Vaal on Thursday.
The Sporting Post is awaiting the official Stipes report after our switchboard was inundated with calls from puzzled punters.
The result was declared official as 11-5-4-3, but it is clear that the result should be 11-5-3-4.
A media release is expected to be issued by 4Racing after the Stipes report is available.
